The Weekly Report Local fishing at Strawberry Reservoir has been up and down, but it should continue to get more consistent very soon. Our best color, by far, has been GOLD. Most of our salmon at Strawberry have been caught on the Red Gold Mighty Minnow. The Niner Spinner Squid has been our second best lure. The Orange Glow Crush Barracuda Blade and Green Moon Jelly Glow Cyclops have been our most consistent blades so far. The Weekly Report Kokanee fishing has been heating up everywhere. Gold has been our best color this spring at Strawberry Reservoir. The Red Gold, Green Gold and Purple and Gold Mighty Minnows have all been great! Several customers have reported LOTS of success with the Cotton Candy Mighty Minnow and Cotton Candy Micro Hoochies. Rainbow Fishing And More Wonderbread!

The Weekly Report One of my favorite things to do this time of year is fish for big, spring rainbows! I love Deer Creek Reservoir in Utah, where the fish are typically very aggressive and hungry. We troll with the same tackle that we use to fish for Kokanee. Orange and Chartreuse are two of the most consistent colors and the Mighty Minnows, Super Minnows and our Trolling Spinners seem to all work very well! First Kokanee trip and Wonderbread now available!

The Weekly Report The first official Kokanee trip of 2024 is in the books and the fishing, especially for this time of year, was excellent! We landed a total of 17 Kokanee and 1 Rainbow on Jordanelle Reservoir, near Park City, Utah. Some of the Kokanee were small, and because they were caught near the surface and water temps were 37 degrees, releasing them was no problem. We still brought home several big salmon for the grill.
